BA (Hons) Journalism with Media Studies

Course Overview

The BA (Hons) Journalism with Media Studies degree equips you with a solid foundation in journalism and a critical understanding of today’s fast-changing media landscape. You’ll learn how the media shapes public opinion and culture, while gaining the practical tools to report, write, produce, and analyses stories across platforms.

Admissions Requirement

HSSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) or A-Levels (or equivalent qualification), In order to achieve 14 years of education equivalence from Higher Education Commission Pakistan, it is essential to have completed 12 years of local education (Metric/Intermediate) or 8 O-levels and 3 A-levels. In other instances, you will normally need to have the following:
• At least 50% in HSSC (intermediate)
• At least 2 A level passes at C or above
• At least Merit/Merit/Pass in the BTEC Extended Diploma
• A completed Access to Higher Education Diploma Equivalent qualifications such as International Baccalaureate
