BA HRM Psychology

Course Overview

Designed to give you the upper hand in the fields of human resource management and psychology, this course will teach you how to empower people in the workplace. You’ll learn about the role psychology plays in a business, as well as key concepts in recruitment and selection, training and development, and managing conflict at work.

Program Mission

Most importantly, on HRM and psychology degree, you’ll learn how a business achieves success by putting people at the heart of everything they do. You’ll also study aspects of human behaviour – such as how we learn, remember, decide on our actions, and collaborate with other people, as well as why differences exist between individuals in areas such as personality and motivation. This combination of skills and knowledge is increasingly valuable to employers, which means you’ll graduate with a qualification that keeps your career options wide open.

Admission/Entry Requirements

We will consider you as an individual and take into account all elements of your application, not just your qualifications. We are looking for breadth and depth in your current studies and enthusiasm for the subject you wish to study. In order to achieve 16 years of education equivalence from Higher Education Commission Pakistan, it is essential to have completed 12 years of local education (Metric/Intermediate) or 8 O-levels and 3 A-levels. In other instances, you will normally need to have the following one of the following:

  • At least 50% in HSSC (intermediate)
  • At least 2 A level passes at C or above
  • At least Merit/Pass/Pass in the BTEC Extended Diploma
  • A completed Access to Higher Education Diploma Equivalent qualifications such as International Baccalaureate
  • Completion of a recognised access programme or equivalent

Assessments

The numerous assessment tools are used to provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your strengths in a variety of ways. That’s why we choose a range of different methods to keep track of your progress. These include Assignments, Essays, Presentations, Case studies, Portfolios of work, and Exams.

Fees and Funding

Arden University fee will be directly payable to the university on the given deadline, which will be communicated to the student in the Acceptance Letter when the student successfully secures a place in the programme. The fee will be due annually for the duration of the degree. IVY fee will be charged on a semester-wise basis. Mode of Study

The programme is taught using face-to-face learning. Students will have access to IVY tools and resources as well as Arden University’s iLearn/VLE to complete their studies/modules. Support will be provided by local and link tutors at IVY and AU.
