MA Mass Communications (1 Year)

Introduction

This is a four-year program comprising 8 semesters, and every semester is consisted of at least five subjects with 3 credit hours each. In this way, every semester consists of 15 credit hours. The student will study a total of 40 subjects plus six credit hours research report/dissertation. After completion of course work, the students will have to write a dissertation to complete their degree. The BS Economics, a 4-year program, is equivalent to 16 years of education.

The Department of Economics carries a mission to develop human resources and transform them into human capital through rigorous teaching, training, and research so that they can significantly contribute to national development. This mission is accomplished through providing quality infrastructure, quality education, and quality training so that the student, after completing education, must be not only innovative, charismatic, and knowledgeable but also a perfect human being and a good citizen. Intermediate or equivalent with at least 2nd division.

Career Prospects

There are a lot of opportunities for Economic graduates at the Best University in different fields. Some of them are as under:

To serve as an Economist in the State Bank of Pakistan, Asian Development Bank, World Bank, etc.

To serve as an Economist in Planning Divisions of Federal and Provincial Governments.

To work as an independent consultant to carry out different research and development  projects.

To start their own business and set up industry if required resources are available.
